The location and price were good, and I got the room I’d booked. The booking and communication were frustrating, though. I specifically avoided booking.com, but the direct booking site wouldn’t accept either of my two Visa cards. Then I received ten emails asking me to complete online check-in, which I did, including providing my phone number and email. I nearly didn’t get the access codes to the house and room because they said they didn’t have my phone number. Reception is only open for two hours at noon.

For €30 I got a single bed, after just showing up at the door and asking for a room. It might cost more through booking websites. The woman running the place had a lovely welcoming smile and was very helpful. It’s clean, functional, and central, with the Cathedral and square only 150 metres away. This is a pension, not a three or four star hotel, but it’s good value for simple, comfortable, clean accommodation and a friendly welcome.

We spent our final Camino night here. The room was well appointed, and the Pension communicated well and was very accommodating. You’ll hear people outside, but that’s part of the Camino finish vibe. Great place and a great location.

My room was very quiet, and the woman at reception was friendly and helpful. The Pension is close to the cathedral, maybe 200 or 300 metres away. The room was clean, though very small. It was okay.
