Olivia Sunset Apartment

The residence is lovely, with spotless common areas, and the apartment was in excellent condition. It was very well maintained, and the host responded quickly. But some residents, including a woman who calls herself the “president,” act as if they can make their own laws in the name of the Canary Islands. We experienced racist, hostile behavior aimed at Muslims simply because my mother was swimming in a burkini. Ironically, the Guardia Civil had been called by this so-called “president.” They confirmed we were in the right and explained a burkini is perfectly suitable for swimming, just like a tankini or bikini. Future residents should enjoy the place, and remember that official law protects your freedom if you face behavior like this.

It’s in a quiet spot, with a supermarket just two minutes away on foot. The complex has a long, large pool, a separate children’s area, and plenty of sun loungers. Depths range from 0.5 m for kids to 1.90 m for adults. Sound carries between apartments, and cooking smells travel from one flat to another. Still, for the location, it’s a great option for families.

The location was fantastic, with parking that worked well and just a little walk to the seafront. Puerto de Santiago is amazing, exactly what we wanted. Our apartment had stunning sea views, was beautifully furnished and clean, and the hosts were so friendly. Thank you!

Restaurants and supermarkets are a three-minute walk away, Playa La Arena is about seven minutes on foot, and the bus stop is close by. There’s free street parking, an elevator in the building, and a security guard on site until night. The apartments are good, and guests can use a shared outdoor area with a private pool about 2 metres deep, a children’s pool, and an outdoor shower. The main pool is wheelchair-accessible.
