Tui Blue Los Gigantes – Solo Adultos +16

The pool and grounds are stunning, the hotel is clean and well run, and the food is tasty, plentiful and varied. The staff seem happy and nothing feels like too much trouble. Those are the reasons we keep returning to TUI Blue Los Gigantes. We've stayed at some of the world's top hotels, but here we feel comfortable and at home, almost like part of the family. Friends ask why we come back so often, and honestly, this place ticks all our boxes. For us, being able to relax and enjoy the holiday is what makes it. We've already booked another stay in April, one in October and another next January. Lots of the guests return year after year, and I can see why. This was our sixth visit, and getting to know so many staff members has made each welcome back feel special. They made our two weeks a very happy holiday, and I'm already counting down the 10 weeks until we see everyone again. There are too many people to name, but special thanks to hostess Teresa, Jesus and Antone on reception, TUI Manager Alex for the hotel tour, and TUI Rep Francicso for the pancake fun. Thanks to Head Chef Franck for the cooking class, the laughs, the delicious food and putting up with all my questions about what's in everything. Chefs David, Matteao, Ernesto, Barbara for the fab omelettes, Manuel and Maria were wonderful too. The waiting staff are such fun, with extra thanks to Ailen, Ayelen, Christian, Andrew, Fabian, Fran and Martina. Keep up the great work, and we look forward to seeing you again. The housekeeping and maintenance teams keep the hotel spotless and in good shape, and the pool lifeguards are friendly and helpful as well. I should stop before I run out of superlatives. It's the people who keep bringing us back. The staff are amazing, and the chefs are lively and have a sense of humour. The food is superb, and there's a huge range of entertainment, with something for everyone. Fitness sessions run throughout the day, along with games and usually a quiz or some fun before the evening band or singer. Fabulous hotel.

I'd stayed here before, so I booked a last-minute visit hoping for that same good hospitality. The location is great in a quieter part of the island, and the amenities are excellent. The weather wasn't great, though, and the pools were too cold for me to use as much as I'd have liked. The food and service were both great, with lots of choices each day. Reception were friendly, efficient and helpful, and the TUI reps were always around during the day. I had a village view and a nice balcony. Since I booked a single room, lesson learned for next time: I'd like a sofa or comfy chair for watching TV instead of just the bed. On arrival there was a welcome drink, plus a bottle of cava, fruit and mineral water in the fridge, a lovely gesture. Some of the pool loungers are looking worn. The evening entertainment wasn't to my taste, though I'm sure others enjoyed it. The daily fitness classes were really good, thanks Jennifer. It was just what I needed, even without the sunshine I was hoping for. Maybe next visit!

The rooms are large and well equipped, and we felt very welcome thanks to the friendly, helpful staff. We never had trouble finding a pool lounger. The sea and marina views are lovely, and I'd highly recommend the spa for some proper relaxation. There was also a bottle of fizz and some fruit waiting in the room when we arrived, a lovely touch.
