I was stuck inside the hotel for an hour. The emergency number didn't work, and nobody had told me that after leaving the key in the box, I had to unlock the door to get out.

You can see the resident donkeys from the room's balcony in the backyard, including Sancho Panza’s trio grazing nearby. The balcony had chairs and was a nice place to get some air. It's a real, authentic pensión for a night, though the walls are thin and the wooden floors creak. Check the attached pictures, and remember, the price is hard to argue with.

The room was on the small side and the bathroom is shared, but everything was very clean. It's a cozy little hotel, and both the owners and staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would come back.

The people were really nice, but the nearby cloister was much too noisy. If you're mainly trying to avoid the expensive places, this could work. If a good night's sleep matters, forget it.
