The bedrooms upstairs feel bright and snug, and there’s plenty of room downstairs in the living area and kitchen. Aransay I is brand new, with clear care put into the details. The bathrooms are kept in great shape and the whole place is spotless. It sits right in the middle of a very peaceful village. I’d recommend it.
Lourdes was lovely, and her mother was such a sweetheart. We stayed August 19th to 24th, two couples with our daughters, and would happily come back. The house has been renovated beautifully, was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. We slept incredibly well on the mattresses, liked the cozy sofa, and made great use of the huge barbecue area. Parking right outside was easy, and the village is well placed for mountain activities, with a lively bar-restaurant too.
The views over the valley are spectacular, and there’s a green space for relaxing or playing, plus a tree swing that made me feel like Heidi swinging among the clouds. Inside, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, and every corner has lovely decorative details. The sauna built into the rock was incredible and quite unique. It’s the best country house I’ve stayed in, and maybe ever will. I can’t wait to return.
For visiting the tourist spots in La Rioja, the location worked really well. The house itself was clean, new, and comfortable, and the owners were very friendly. We’d love to come back.
Josefina is all smiles and will do her best to get you anything you need. The house is cozy and has all the furnishings and equipment you could want. It’s in a quiet village, surrounded by nature, in a lovely area halfway between Santo Domingo and Ezcaray.
