For summer, it's cheap, but there are a few catches. The building shows its age, and although everything worked, there was no air conditioning. Our room was on the third floor, with no elevator. The bed wasn't very comfortable, and breakfast cost extra and felt a bit pricey.

If you're after cheaper accommodation than the other hotels, you might be satisfied here. The hotel is basic, with small rooms and very simple amenities. It's a bit outside town, around a 10-minute walk from Silgar beach, and there's no elevator. Check-in and checkout both left a lot to be desired.

Quiet, family-friendly and affordable, with what you need for either a weekend at the beach or a longer vacation. The Silgar promenade and beach are about a 10-minute walk away, so it's a convenient place to stay.

On the first day we had to shower in cold water, and they asked us to pay what we owed for several days in advance. We did, but then the receptionist got mixed up and chased us through town, shouting that we still had to pay the difference, even though he knew we were coming back because we'd paid for more days. They also didn't replace our towels overnight, saying it was “to save money.” The service wasn't good, and the guy at reception didn't seem very bright. Exceptional!

It's a family-run hotel, clean and very close to the center of Sanxenxo and Silgar Beach. We didn't need the car at all, except for trips to O Grove and La Toja. There's no lift, and they charge you when you arrive, but the staff and owners are very attentive.
