The countryside made for such a lovely weekend. There was loads of room to sit, a big living room, comfy beds, and a private bathroom in every bedroom. The showers had great pressure, too. Coffee fans should bring their own Nespresso and frother, and don’t forget a vegetable peeler.

The quiet and the view around La Casa de Narzana were wonderful. We spent one night there while walking the Camino de Santiago, and the house exceeded what we expected. Brigida, our hostess, was especially kind and attentive.

The garden was a highlight, enormous, beautifully cared for, and lovely for activities or watching sunrise and sunset together. We were a group of 11 adults and 2 dogs over the December long weekend, and the house gave us plenty of space. Downstairs felt almost open-plan, so everyone could spend time together while using different areas. The big windows looked out onto the garden, and the Christmas decorations made the place feel extra welcoming. The kitchen had plenty of utensils for all of us. Bedrooms were comfortable and well equipped, each with its own bathroom, and we'd happily come back. 100% recommended.

Large-group places can be hard to find, and this one felt like a little paradise. There was plenty of space, a comfortable shared area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a lovely garden, especially nice for families traveling with children. Every bedroom had its own bathroom. Brigida, the owner, was particularly attentive and kind. It’s a great place to unwind; I highly recommend it and will definitely return.
