Hotel ELE Acueducto

We were charged the full price despite having a valid discount code. On the phone, they seemed fine with applying it, but at arrival they wouldn't reimburse the difference or make any effort to help. The mattresses were low quality, breakfast wasn't worth the price, and the air conditioning was loud. Overpriced.

The restaurant was delicious and well priced, and the service there was the sort of high quality you see in the USA. At reception, the young woman was especially helpful with my poor Spanish. The hotel is older, as you'd expect, but it was clean and very well maintained. The hotel and service were excellent. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Segovia. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The bed was comfortable and the bedroom had enough space, though its furniture was old. The bathroom was roomy, but there's no drain if water spills over, and the vent without a fan left the mirror steamed up. Lighting was awkwardly placed, either too bright or too dim. Spanish tour groups use this basic hotel a lot, so the lobby can be packed at check-in and checkout. It's adequate, nothing special. A real bonus was the helpful, genuinely bilingual guy at reception, from NYC, go figure.

The aqueduct views were great, and the staff were kind. Breakfast was mediocre, especially the bad coffee. The room was average and the walls were very thin. The facilities were okay.
