Placeta Vella Turismo de Interior

Set in a small town in the Tramantura mountain region, this is a quiet, picturesque place to stay. The staff were wonderfully kind, and the rooms have a rustic-chic style with large rainfall showers. A real hidden gem.

The buffet breakfast was generous, with little changes from one morning to the next. Our room was spacious, the bed was massive and very comfortable, and the shower was amazing. Everything was spotless, and the interior is stylish. Breakfast staff were friendly and down to earth, and one woman gave us really helpful advice about activities. We were a bit confused to find nobody at the hotel when we arrived, but soon got used to its no-fuss approach. We also couldn’t find anywhere open for dinner on Monday night, though it was early April.

Parking near the church was easy, and the breakfast was a relaxed start to each day, with fresh, healthy food and enough variety to keep it interesting. The hotel is in peaceful Caimari, well placed between Alcudia and the Tramuntana mountains, so I could explore the coast and mountains without rushing. I was travelling solo and had a really enjoyable, restful stay at Placeta Vella. The building and interior are clean, stylish, and quietly charming. My room was spacious and spotless, with an excellent shower, and everything seemed carefully looked after. Ana was consistently friendly and helpful. When I said my pillow was keeping me from sleeping well, she told her manager, who went out and bought me a new one. That kindness stayed with me. It’s a personal, welcoming place, and I’d gladly return.

The breakfast had a great spread of fresh, tasty options, and the service throughout was top-notch. My room was spotless and well kept, with thoughtful little touches. Laura, Ana and Faustina were always attentive and friendly, and made me feel at home. Placeta Vella has a warm, inviting atmosphere, with a lovely mix of charm, elegance, and comfort in its design. I was struck by the decor all around the hotel. It was a memorable stay and felt like great value. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back.
