We booked two rooms, and none of the TVs worked. After everything was paid and we’d checked in, we were told they work by sharing your phone screen, but that didn’t help. Nobody mentioned this beforehand, and there was no discount or alternative, so we just had to accept it. You come to relax and can’t watch anything, and the price is far from cheap for what you get. I won’t return or recommend it. The room looked like the photo, but the sheets weren’t clean, there was hair in the otherwise clean sink, and the room was dusty. The stairs were stained, with papers strewn about, and apparently hadn’t been mopped all day.

You really can’t judge this place from the outside. Inside, the welcome is warm, and the reception area has lots of space and sofas. The bar and hostel are busy around the clock, but everything stays tidy and clean. The bar is open 24 hours, and parking is available and closed off at night. Upstairs it’s remarkably quiet, with wide corridors and spotless carpet. The room was spacious, modern, and had all the basics you’d expect in a hostel. The bathroom was also roomy and modern, with nice little touches around the shower and toilet. They leave water bottles in the room, too. The dogs weren’t charged for, and each got a little gift. I’ve traveled with my dogs for years and this was the first time they’d ever been given something, especially for free. I’d canceled the triple room when my son couldn’t come, but they charged me for a double and let us use the larger triple for less. At 50 euros, it’s better than what they charge. We had a good experience.

We were looking for somewhere near Puy du Fou, since staying close to the park was impossible with the exorbitant prices. This modest hotel gave us a very quiet two-night stay, and it was great as a place to pass through. Both the hotel and cafeteria are open 24 hours, at 50€ a night. I was struck by how clean and thoughtfully equipped it was, something many hotels could learn from. There was a television, air conditioning, two free bottles of water, slippers, a couple of makeup remover pads, and cotton buds.

The staff were attentive throughout and kept us updated while the power was out. It affected the whole complex and was beyond the hostel’s control. We spent our first night by candlelight, but the electricity was back the next day. They apologized a lot and, as a kind gesture, didn’t charge us for the trouble. We’d booked a double room for four nights for three adults and our small dog, and pets are welcome. The outside gives a very different impression from the inside. The rooms and bathroom have been fully renovated, the beds are large and comfortable, and everything was very clean. It’s a great place to rest after a journey or visit Warner Bros. Park. We’ll definitely come back.
