The location is the highlight, just five minutes from Vallter 2000. Our room was cozy and very clean, and breakfast was simple but really good, though it isn't a buffet. The owner was the woman who helped us, and she took excellent care of us. Great value for money. I'd absolutely recommend it and will be back.

The whole experience was enough to put us off coming back. We were in Setcases on Christmas Day, December 25th, after several hours in the car, and wanted a hot drink before heading out again that afternoon. The bar-restaurant next door, where we usually go, was shut when we arrived here, so we asked if this place was open. An older man answered by asking what we thought, and whether it looked open or had its lights on. I pointed out that the place next door had all its lights on too, but we'd been told it was closed and only his family was inside. He was very rude and said that lights being on meant it was open. We took the little they had to drink and didn't argue further, but honestly, we felt like turning around and leaving. Being spoken to that way on Christmas Day leaves you speechless. He must work in restaurants because he doesn't know how to do anything else, but he isn't good at it either. The snowplows hardly ever come through, the access road is always being closed, and the people are unfriendly. We won't return.

The freshly picked mushrooms were the best part, and the meal was very good value. We came with the family for La Mercè to celebrate my mother's birthday. The service was perfect, everyone was pleasant and attentive.
