Montanya Hotel & Lodge

Christina was super friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions, and the hotel was very clean. But it felt dated, the breakfast was below par, and there wasn’t much to do. The photos online seemed really old, so we were disappointed when we arrived. We ended up checking out a day early and moving to the centre of Barcelona.

I’ve never had a worse experience. The reception service was awful, and they didn’t try to solve our problems or seem to care about customers. Is this really what you expect from a 4-star hotel? Think carefully about the service before booking. I won’t set foot here again.

The buffet dinner was fantastic, and breakfast was genuinely delicious. We also loved the spa and indoor pool. Our room had great amenities, a wonderful view, a comfortable bed, and a lovely bathtub with hot water. The resort and lobby look beautiful, and check-in was smooth. What stood out most was the service. Every staff member was professional, always smiling, and ready to do what they could to make our stay memorable. Christina deserves a special mention for her exceptional customer care. This is the most amazing resort we’ve stayed at so far, even compared with some of the world’s most luxurious ones. An easy five stars from us. Thanks to everyone for such a wonderful stay. We’re already counting down to coming back. Cheers!
