The owners were very nice, and I enjoyed the food. The risotto comes in a really big portion. Prices felt a little high, but I’d visit again. I was glad to find a vegetarian restaurant in the Alpujarras.

We had the best food of our whole time in Spain here. The vegetarian dishes were delicious, and they had menus in English. The hosts were incredibly kind and friendly. I’d definitely recommend it.

We didn’t stay, so I can’t say anything about the rooms. The vegetarian selection was excellent, both in range and quality. I was there with my 9-yo English and German speaking granddaughter and her mum. Some local girls who spoke English and Spanish, and were about her age, invited her to play. She was too tired and shy, but it was a lovely gesture.

We only stopped for lunch, so I can’t rate the rooms, though I imagine a lot of care goes into them. We had a fabulous meal at L'Atelier, with delicious food and terrific service. Sitting outside with our dogs made it feel like a little holiday in this quiet, quaint mountain town. They welcomed the dogs with water bowls and snacks.

Freshly made vegetarian and vegan food, with gluten-free options handled really well. This cosy place is a hidden gem in the Alpujarra, and a must for anyone coming to the area.
