Even though I wasn't a customer, they treated my request with real care. They were still closed in April, but replied almost straight away and kindly offered a few alternatives. One of them worked for me. I wish I got the same helpful response in similar situations elsewhere. Thanks for being so responsive to a potential customer!
The setting and facilities are lovely, and the price for one night is good. But the room had no hand soap or even a basic towel, and the bed covers were disposable interfacing. You also can't stay for meals or bring your own sheets. Some of the services really need improving.
There are five rooms in the main building, plus some lovely cabins with wood-burning stoves. The place is set up for children's summer camps and has lots of activities, though it's still worth a visit outside the summer season. We were a group and felt right at home. Carolina, our waitress, made herself feel like part of the group and kept an eye on everyone. Isaac and his wife were always ready to help and make sure we were comfortable. The food was very good, and the service was excellent. I'd recommend it for groups like ours.
The cabins are fine, but the stairs up to the lofts are impossible to climb.
We only stopped for lunch, so I can't say anything about the hotel. The staff were really friendly, and the location is great for eating out on the terrace on a beautiful day like today. The food and service were well worth the stop.
