Apartamentos Sunway Talaia

The terrace has spectacular direct views of the sea, and the apartment comes with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It’s fully furnished, with a huge parking space in the same building and direct elevator access. The lock needs replacing, though, or someone may not be able to get in. The pool is large but has depths of 1.50m, 1.80m, and 2.30m. Having only that one pool seems too limiting, especially for families with children.

Free parking and a spot right on the beachfront made this apartment a great experience for us. The location is excellent, and we’ll be back.

We'd stayed three times, in 2021, 2023, and again in July 2025. On this latest visit, just a few days ago, the furniture looked as if a mouse had chewed it. The cleaning staff knocked three times, then opened the door when we didn’t answer because we hadn’t noticed them. They tidied our belongings, or at least the area where we live. That was the worst part of the cleaning service. There were signs saying “No dogs allowed” at the pool, yet we kept seeing dogs there, among other things.

The location is very good, which makes the condition of the apartment a shame. Its fixtures were badly outdated, the bathrooms and kitchen smelled of sewage, and the air conditioning units clearly weren’t maintained. Turning on the air conditioning for heat cut power to the whole apartment. Reception quickly sent a technician, but all he brought were small, noisy space heaters. Then we noticed a burning smell: there had been an electrical panel problem and a cable short circuit. We asked to move for safety, especially since there was no smoke detector. The other apartment didn’t have one either. I won’t stay in these apartments again.
