Ground Floor in Sitges

The location is the real draw here, with the harbour just a three-minute walk away and Sitges beaches and the old quarter about 15 minutes on foot. Breakfast was good, while the gym was average. My room, though, felt like a three-star stay. The carpet was threadbare, the brown wood trim looked dated, the wardrobe doors were wobbly and the towels were thin. It badly needs a refurbishment. Rooms on the fourth floor or higher seem to have been updated, so ask for one of those. Service varied, and a few staff came across as apathetic. It's a large hotel focused on business conventions, so I imagine corporate guests may care more about the price.

The pool is nice and there’s plenty of free parking nearby. The hotel is a little tired, but I still found it very good overall. I'd book a higher room category for the balcony and its stunning view.

The view from the sixth floor was unforgettable at both sunrise and sunset, and the location is excellent. Breakfast had a good range, and the staff were friendly and professional, which made the stay pleasant. The lower floors, 1-3, feel very dated, while floors 4-6 have been renovated and are in much better shape. More broadly, the property needs better upkeep and a deeper clean. My room looked clean in the obvious spots, but there was dust under the bed and furniture. The gym needs particular attention, with old equipment, broken parts and dirty, poorly maintained floors. Even breakfast details, like the lemon slice, could be fresher. More consistent maintenance, thorough cleaning and updates across the hotel would help it live up to its great location and views.

The top-floor rooms are spacious, with fantastic views over beautiful Sitges, and breakfast is fresh and plentiful. The food and drinks are tasty and good value for a hotel. It's also easy to stroll into town from here. We felt welcome throughout, with lovely service and hospitality. The place is clean, stylish and peaceful, with a good-sized pool and plenty of loungers. It's a blend of business and holiday hotel, so it suits people who want to relax without poolside noise or evening entertainment. It's very child friendly, though there's no kids' club and it's not a resort. There are lots of conferences too, which makes for an interesting mix of guests. Thanks for another great visit.
