Hotel Medium Sitges 1883

The location made it easy to explore Sitges, and breakfast was a great start to the day. We’ve just come back from a lovely stay at Hotel Medium Sitges Park. The room was good, though the internet could’ve been better.

The staff were so kind and clearly cared about the place. From the moment we arrived, the receptionist’s smile and the lovely scent made a good impression. The little courtyard with its pool and plants was a nice sight at breakfast. The hotel itself is charming, and I’d like to come back, but next time I’d choose building A. We were in building B and had very noisy neighbors. They slammed doors, ran up and down the stairs and talked loudly while drunk around 2-3 a.m., so I couldn’t rest. The room’s soundproofing was poor. Maybe A and C are quieter, or perhaps those rooms block sound better.

Everything was spotless, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Hotel Medium Sitges Park is right in the centre, so it was easy to explore. WiFi was fast and reliable, making it simple to share all the lovely moments. I had a fantastic stay!

The hotel’s location is good, but breakfast was a mess both days we stayed. The hotel was full that weekend, and there didn’t seem to be enough staff or food. Items ran out before we could even find a table. We asked for several things to be replenished and were told they were finished, even though breakfast had another hour to go. The juice containers were all empty and stayed that way. That’s not acceptable. The hotel is basic, and the air conditioning issue was really frustrating. They switched it off and only allowed heating, even though one day was 10 degrees and the next was 20. We had to leave the patio door open to cool the room. In this day and age, it’s ridiculous to make guests uncomfortable just to save money.
