Madison Residence

The bed was lumpy and hard, and I had trouble falling asleep. The walls were thin enough that I could hear all the way to the lobby from my third-floor room, though luckily most people weren't too noisy. The room itself was large and clean, with a big bathroom, bathtub, hairdryer, working mini-fridge, and plenty of natural light from the big windows. There was a full-length mirror, a large closet with a safe, a TV, air-conditioning, and guest WiFi. They also provided water, coffee, and tea. The staff were friendly, the location was very central, and the room rate was affordable.

The modern room decor was clean and appealing, and the hotel had everything I needed, including a fridge and even a bidet. It's in a very central spot, near the main streets, beach, and train station. I wish I'd stayed longer, it was really nice.

We only stayed a short time, but it was wonderful. The little outdoor patio and high ceilings made the place feel so nice and homey. The front desk woman was friendly and helpful, and even took our luggage up to the room while we were out exploring. Great area, and I wish we'd stayed longer.

I was nervous after reading the earlier reviews here, though the ones on Booking were mostly positive. But I thought the place was great. The person I assume was the owner was lovely at reception and let me in before check-in time. Everything was very clean, and it's two minutes from both the beach and town centre. I'd recommend it and come back.
