Subur Maritim Hotel

We had a brilliant stay, and the staff were wonderful across the board, a full eleven out of ten. The hotel was clean, with clean rooms, big beds, a sunny balcony, and a nice quiet location. Reception and housekeeping were lovely. It’s dog friendly, which is a big attraction for us, and there’s free parking. The location was great. Breakfast was average to basic. The minibar was reasonably priced but wasn’t replenished, so we ran out of things. Room service was hit and miss, and wasn’t available when we wanted it despite being advertised. The pool was out of use, but it was winter and we hadn’t expected it to be open. There wasn’t really a bar available: there’s a pool bar and something like a bar by reception, but neither was open, though they would have got us a drink if we’d asked. Even with those snags, the stay had everything we needed.

The pool area was a nice extra, a good place to cool down after the beach, and families should find the space and easy access to Sitges useful for kids. We had a fantastic stay at Subur Hotel, with a room that was cosy and comfortable for switching off and relaxing. The food had a nice range of choices for different tastes. The hotel is right beside the sea, with lovely views and only a short walk to the town centre. It had the comfort and convenience we wanted, with a special Mediterranean feel. Highly recommended.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel was basic, but we slept comfortably, and it was fine for our three nights. We could hear quite a bit of noise from other guests. It’s a little way from the Old Town, though walking back and forth along the seafront was enjoyable.

There’s convenient parking on the property, which is a real plus in Sitges, along with other handy facilities. The place feels like a warm, welcoming retreat just a block from the beach and an easy walk to the centre. We’ll be back!
