On September 23, 2024, a court order returned possession of this house to its owner after Mr. Felipe Ruiz M., to put it politely, had stopped paying rent in December 2021. Global Sitges cannot rent the property under any circumstances. This is a scam.

I’d give this no stars if that were possible. Our group of 14 wanted to rent the villa for a hen weekend. As we explained to Felipe, the supposed Global Sitges manager, we planned to play games and listen to music on the five speakers already in the garden, not throw a huge party or disturb the neighbors. We understand the need to avoid bothering anyone, and made that clear from the start. Still, the rental process was a string of problems. We spent a week asking for the details to pay the 50% deposit, while Felipe kept assuring us the house was reserved. When he finally sent the invoice and payment information, the supposedly all-inclusive price was €500 higher than the quote. In my view, customer service requires friendliness, respect, and professionalism, and Felipe showed none of those. When we called to ask about the price change, he told us to find somewhere else, said he would no longer rent to us, and hung up. I’d advise people not to waste their time with them. I don’t know where these people came from, but they’re incredibly shameless and unprofessional.

As of September 20th, 2023, we had been dealing for 22 months with unpaid rent for "Villa Navarra Terramar" and his failure to follow requests to leave the property. He has also continued renting it through his website. My grandmother, the rightful owner and now 97, trusted Felip for eight years. This situation has caused her serious financial difficulty. The Spanish judicial system moves slowly, so we expect it may take more time for the matter to be settled, for Felip to return the keys to her home, and for the outstanding amount to be paid. It has been hard on our family, and we want to share our experience to warn others about dealing with this company. We hope it is resolved fairly. No one should have to face this, especially someone who is 97. The train tracks are very close, something I haven’t seen mentioned elsewhere. Every time a train goes by, the house shakes, and the sudden rumble at 6 am really startled us. The house also looks older in person than it does in the lovely photos, so for what it is, I found it very expensive.
