The area is really nice, with several good attractions nearby. The bedrooms are comfortable, but there’s not much furniture in the common spaces, and it’s hard to seat everyone who can sleep in the house for a meal. The renovation looks fake and unattractive, with plastic new floors and even imitation wooden beams. The colors and materials don’t work well together. It’s comfortable enough for sleeping, but not very pleasant to spend time indoors. The outside areas are nicer, though the swimming pool is too exposed and unattractive.

The hosts were kind and helpful whenever we asked for something, and the villa itself is beautiful, with its medieval furnishings and forest setting. But for a place costing 4000 euros per week, the lack of mosquito nets is a serious problem. Bees, flies, field mice, and other creatures get inside. It’s terribly hot, so you can’t keep the windows closed at night. Mosquito nets and attention to the outdoor area by the kitchen would have made the stay much more pleasant.

Our group of fourteen stayed from February 24th to 26th, and we all came away delighted. The house was spacious, beautiful, and warm, and we felt right at home. Many thanks to Raquel for being so kind and welcoming. We’ll definitely come back.

A spectacular weekend with fourteen friends. The photos really don’t do the place justice. Raquel was always there to help our group, and we’re already planning another visit. We’re practically threatening to come back! Thanks for everything. 100% recommended.
