The meals were the highlight for us. We looked forward to dinner every day, and the cooking felt like haute cuisine while still being very fairly priced. During our 18 days in Northern Spain, we didn't find food that delicious before or afterward. The house is beautiful, with care in every decorating detail. I came away with lots of ideas for my own place. The whole team was warm, thoughtful, and so friendly. When we mentioned that we weren't big on sweet breakfasts, the next morning they surprised us with a generous savory spread. And despite what I've seen in some other comments, breakfast wasn't overpriced, and neither was anything else. We had a fantastic stay at Rectoral Anllo. Thanks, Nacho and the team, for looking after us so well. We hope to return!

Loved the setting, the hikes, and all the nature around the house. The food and hospitality were just as good, and the place itself was perfect. I couldn't have asked for more. I'll definitely be back.

The Amandi sub area of Ribeira Sacra makes a good base for exploring, and it's a paradise for birdwatching. We also enjoyed the gardens and countryside walks. Nacho, the owner, was friendly and professional, and the evening meal was very good with an Algueira white wine, though the wine was expensive. Breakfast was good too, with plenty of homemade cakes and fruit. The bedroom was spacious and rustic, with a bathroom and tub, and the place was peaceful. Wi-fi could be hit or miss, probably because the buildings have thick stone walls. Some rooms get chilly and need extra electric heaters in winter.
