Casa Rural El Cuco

We’re coming back for our anniversary, just as we have every year for the past four years. It’s a lovely house with so many thoughtful details, and the jacuzzi is fantastic. We also made good use of the barbecue in the small patio during the holidays. The place was spotless, and the owners were so friendly. We’ll definitely return. 😍

The pool is lovely, but with children you have to drive to reach it. The house itself was clean and had nice finishes, though it sits right beside a busy road, so the traffic noise never lets up. That’s not what we expected from a rural stay, and the photos don’t show it. There’s nothing in the village, either. The advertised restaurant is no longer open because its owner retired. We won’t be back.

The house was so spotless that I’ve never seen anything like it, even though I travel a lot. The kitchen utensils were just as clean, and the heating kept us warm in winter. We loved relaxing in the jacuzzi, and the mattress was great. The patio and barbecue were a lovely finishing touch. Marco and his brother were always attentive, though the house was so well equipped we didn’t lack anything. It’s about 15 minutes from beautiful Avila, with mountains and nature all around and such peaceful surroundings. We had a fantastic holiday and I’m already looking forward to coming back. I recommend it 100%.

We slept wonderfully, the beds are super comfortable. The house is warm and cozy, with everything you might need. Having the BBQ and fireplace made it feel even more inviting. The village is small, but Ávila is only a short drive away. Everything was great.
