Protur Bonamar Hotel - Adults Only

We’ve stayed here many times, and the welcome from the staff is always warm. The location is excellent, between both resorts. The rooms are a little small, but perfectly adequate and cleaned every day. Natalie deserves a special mention for running around all day to organise games, quizzes, bingo and entertainment. Victoria, Demi and Jessica at reception are also great at sorting out any problems quickly and efficiently.

We’ll be back, can’t wait. This place is a real gem, with a perfect location and the best hotel entertainment we’ve seen in a long time. Natalie does an amazing job keeping everyone entertained all day. The staff are wonderful and so friendly, and the whole place is absolutely spotless. There’s nothing we could fault.

We’ve just returned from 10 days at Protur Bonamar in Mallorca, and had a wonderful stay. It’s a quiet hotel in a great location by the sea, on the promenade and within walking distance of the nearest towns and hot spots. The hotel is modern, clean and tidy, with three unheated pools and enough room for everyone to get a sunbed without rushing to save one. There are places to relax out of the midday sun and a designated area for smokers and vapers. Lifts serve all floors, which made arriving and leaving with suitcases easy. Our room had a hairdryer, and an iron and ironing board were available on request. Really, there wasn’t much we needed that wasn’t provided. The food and drink selection was plentiful and not too expensive for a hotel. Breakfast and dinner were absolutely fine, with plenty of choice and dietary needs catered for. For mass catering there wasn’t anything to complain about. Dinner does have a set time and table each night, so you can’t choose a different dining time each evening, which is understandable given the number of guests. The rooms weren’t large and storage was limited for two people’s luggage for 10 days, but they were clean and tidy. Whenever we switched on room service, we came back to a spotless room. Longer-haired guests might want another hand towel, but we asked for one and had no problem getting it. The balcony was small but fine for a nightcap before bed. A couple of minor issues were the shower’s poor water pressure and air conditioning that never felt properly cold, even though it was on all the time and couldn’t be set below 18. I also naively expected soft drinks at dinner to be included in the holiday cost, but they were chargeable. None of that had a real effect on our great holiday. Victoria and Demi at reception were always smiling, greeting us with a hello and happy to help. A welcome glass of Cava was a lovely touch. They gave us useful directions, local restaurant recommendations and ideas for places to see. Natalie also manages the entertainment programme and makes guests feel noticed and valued. She’s full of energy and brings so much joy to it, a real asset to the hotel. The evening bingo is great fun, with some good cash prizes, and the evening shows were usually tribute bands or singers, with a good standard and something for everyone. The bar and restaurant staff, MaNu, Vanessa, Jessica, Xavia, Kiara and Tomi, were all fabulous. Kiara, Jessica and Vanessa quickly learned what we liked and were nearby when we wanted a drink or two. MaNu always seemed to have a smile, and the team stayed polite and professional even when short-staffed and busy. They work very hard to make guests’ stays better. We also booked aromatherapy massages with Fabiana, who was amazing and had the hands of an angel. We felt completely relaxed and pampered, so we booked pedicures for the end of the holiday too. The reception girls can’t do enough for you, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel or return. Thanks to all the team for working so hard. We hope management appreciates you. C&P

We were disappointed with our room’s view when we first arrived, so we asked about changing rooms. The reception team were very helpful and arranged a move for the next day. We love staying here and have already booked for next year. The staff, especially everyone at reception, are so pleasant and helpful, which is why we keep coming back.
