Protur Floriana Resort Aparthotel

We asked before arriving for a pool view room and, if possible, a bottle of Prosecco for my sister’s 60th celebration. The hotel came through with a lovely room overlooking the pool, a huge balcony and the bubbly. We stayed three nights with family and a friend. The apartment was modern, very spacious and perfect for three adults, and the place was so clean. Staff were lovely and always smiling. The restaurant is roomy with a great range of food, and everything was clearly labelled for allergies, which was ideal for me as a coeliac. The only change I’d suggest is making one of the four pools adults-only. We’d recommend the hotel and come again. Thank you! ☺️

We stayed as a family of three in September, and the booking website had a bug that wouldn’t let me reserve for three people. We had no control over that, but ended up paying extra for every day. The bathroom absolutely reeked of pee, so we had to buy air freshener or using the toilet would have made us almost throw up. The kitchen was extremely limited and didn’t even have anything for washing dishes. We had to buy dish soap and a sponge, otherwise cooking more than once would have been impossible. The one lovely thing was the cats on the property, who were adorable company. The pool closes at 6pm, which is ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend the apartments to anyone.

Our first stay here met our expectations. The room was lovely, clean and well equipped, with comfortable beds and plenty of towels. We were all-inclusive, and there was plenty of choice, even for fussy eaters: fresh fruit, salads, meat, fish, burgers, pizza, chips and pasta for the kids. The all-inclusive drinks were fine too. The pools were lovely, if a little cold, and there were lots of sun loungers. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, and work hard to keep standards up. Well done to you all.

The food, staff and cleanliness were fantastic, nothing to fault there. The constant music by the pool got on my nerves, though, and the evening entertainment was hit and miss. Even though it didn’t start until 9pm, it seemed more aimed at kids than adults.
