Talayot Affiliated By Senator

The restaurant was a real highlight. We were on half board for seven nights and never felt the need to eat out. Breakfast had cereals, bread, meats, a full English, made-to-order omelettes, juice, coffee and tea. Dinner brought salads, fish cooked as requested, and a good range of hot dishes, vegetables, potatoes and chips, with different choices each night. Beer, wine and soft drinks were self-service, and the restaurant staff kept everything friendly and efficient. We had a sea-view room with a spacious balcony. The room was large, clean and well equipped with tea and coffee facilities, a TV and a hairdryer. The sink was in the bedroom area, which took some getting used to, but it was fine. There was also an elevated first-floor area with a bar and infinity pool, plus evening entertainment a few times a week. The main pool at the back was a good size, had a separate jacuzzi, plenty of loungers and a bar for drinks and snacks. A lifeguard was on duty. Reception provided pool towels; although the information mentioned a deposit and a €1 charge to exchange them, we kept the same towel. Our travel agent had recommended Talayot, and we were glad we followed her advice even though we hadn't checked reviews or done research beforehand. The location was lovely and staff in every area were friendly from arrival to departure. One thing to plan for is the airport coach. It doesn't stop outside the hotel, but drops passengers on a parallel road two roads away, so there's a walk to the entrance. We managed in the early afternoon; other guests said they had to make the same walk after arriving in the early hours. The return pickup is from that same spot, with a message giving a 30-minute window. We would definitely recommend Talayot and the local area.

My AirPods Pro disappeared from our room, and I was very unhappy with how the hotel handled it. I spoke to reception four times but got no reply from management and no apology. The lack of support or accountability was deeply disappointing. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The bar and the rest of the hotel were good, with nice cocktails and friendly staff, but the food was terrible. We were there for ten days all-inclusive and only ate in the hotel restaurant maybe three times. Sad, because other parts of the stay were good.

The resort is right across from the sea, with lovely sunrises, shops and places to eat nearby. The pools were clean and enjoyable, and the pool bars had plenty of snacks and alcohol. The bar staff were all great, especially Enrique, Juan Jose and Gabriel. Gabriel made my holiday with his humour and entertainment. The evening shows ran every other night and kept us entertained. I was travelling alone and felt safe and comfortable throughout my fantastic two-week stay. Everything went smoothly from my first welcome at reception until I left. My room was spacious and clean, and the lovely cleaners changed the bedding and towels every day. I'm a fussy eater, but I was happy with every meal. The chefs were kind and always up for a chat, and the waiters and waitresses were amazing. Miriam may be the happiest person I've ever met. I had such an amazing holiday. Thank you xx
