Hostal Sorbas

The breakfast manager, who’s from Gambia, greeted us cheerfully and went out of his way to help with whatever we needed, from bacon and eggs to pastries. Breakfast was very good. This is a bed and breakfast, so you’ll need to walk into town for dinner. We stayed a night before training at Circuito de Almeria and were welcomed by the night manager, who put us on the third floor. The tidy entrance displays historical artefacts about this part of Spain, and our room was neat and comfortable, with clean bathroom facilities. The place is well organized and great value.

Recently renovated, with big rooms and friendly service. Breakfast was wonderful, too. The location right by the main road is convenient, and for the price, it’s the best value. This place should have at least four stars.

We booked the capsule room at this budget hotel, and my kids loved the modern capsule setup. The screen still worked, though it would be better with Apple or Google casting instead of the outdated Miracast. The bed was cozy, and the bathroom was the best I’ve had in a budget hotel: clean, spacious, and well supplied. Breakfast was nice, with friendly staff and good scrambled eggs. I don’t need anything else from a place like this. Kudos.

Good rates and service at this quiet hotel outside town, out in the desert. Food and booze, too.
