The room was comfortable and spacious, and the central location comes at a good price. It’s a little dated, though, and you have to call reception to switch on the air conditioning. Parking costs extra and the space is very tight. Reception staff can understand basic English.

We stayed for two weeks, and I really wished there’d been a comfortable chair in the room. The TV worked and had a nice range of channels. The hotel is plain but has what you need: clean rooms, comfortable beds, a modern bathroom and soft towels. There’s also a nice breakfast room, a cafeteria and comfy lobby sofas, all in a great location. The front desk staff often seemed more annoyed than welcoming, though there was a language barrier. In Soria, a Google translator app is a must. Shopkeepers were patient and nice.

The staff were the best part, very friendly, efficient and helpful, even with my rusty Spanish. Hotel Alfonso Vlll is right in the centre of Soria, and parking is available. The rooms feel luxurious for an affordable price.

The breakfast was excellent, and the location was good. Rooms were clean and a good size, making this a nice place to stay. The garage is very tight, so a small car or confident driving skills would help.

We had a nice time celebrating the New Year. The hotel staff were welcoming, and we loved the location right in the city centre. Thanks for a good memory of our visit to Soria.
