Apartamentos Pessets Adelaida

The location was good, but the apartment didn't meet basic comfort standards, especially for the area's climate and the price. We were cold. The only heating for the whole apartment was two heaters, which were clearly not enough when the average temperature is around 2 °C. We complained while we were there, but the only thing offered was another heater that blew cold air, so the problem was never fixed. There were blankets, but no duvet or blankets suitable for those temperatures. The kitchen is small and fairly well equipped, but the extractor didn't work properly. Even when cooking simple things, smoke filled the room and we had to keep opening the windows. With the cold and inadequate heating, that made things very uncomfortable. There was no plug in the main room, which is a big inconvenience these days. The hairdryer also didn't work, suggesting basic equipment hadn't been checked or maintained.

The location and spa were the best parts. The apartment had plenty of space, but it needs updating. There weren't enough power outlets, the kitchen doors were loose, and the elevator broke down twice in five days. Neither the Wi-Fi nor the TV worked. We had to call three times about the TV. You need to bring your own sheets, and bath towels are available to rent.

The sofa bed was awful to sleep on. Its slats were held together with tape and silicone, and the mattress was very thin and sagged in the middle. We were cold at night, there were no bath towels, and the beds weren't made. The sheets were left in a cupboard for us to put on ourselves. The apartment was dirty and neglected. There was dust under the beds and even a sock under one. The toilet had ash in it, the bathtub was dirty, and there were other signs that cleaning had been missed. The kitchen needs renovation too, and the microwave was falling apart. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

The location was the one good thing. The apartments were very basic and dated, with worn-out foam cushions on the sofas and beds where you sank deep into the mattresses.
