Cat mess greeted us outside our bedroom in the morning. The owners had warned us to keep the door shut so their cats wouldn't get out, but that didn't stop this. The smell of cat pee hangs through the whole building, too. The rooms were awful, with dirty sheets, cobwebs, and towels that smelled moldy. Want a night of terror? Stay here. A terrible place.

The owner said the dirt was to be expected because the house is in the countryside. Sure, but that doesn't make a filthy place with cobwebs and bugs acceptable. The cleaner even brushed off the spiders in the beds and mold in the fridge as no big deal. We paid for three weeks, but they refused to refund us, so we had to find somewhere else to stay. A real house of horrors. Please avoid it.

We got helpful information at Hostal El Venero about outdoor activities nearby, including hiking and cycling. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the pool was clean and refreshing. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with decor that suited the natural setting. At just 20 meters from a stream and waterfall, with the mountains around it, the location felt peaceful. Waking to the waterfall and birds was something I'll remember. My stay was spectacular, and I'd happily return for another relaxing break.

A lovely place for a quiet summer afternoon, especially by the pool. The owners can also prepare homemade meals if you get in touch. Our room was cleaned every day, and the TV worked perfectly. Tucked away in nature, it's charming and peaceful. I'd recommend it.

The owner was attentive throughout our stay and suggested a great place for lunch or dinner. The setting is lovely, up in the mountains beside a natural waterfall, and parking was easy. We also enjoyed the peaceful pool, with clean water that wasn't too cold. The bathroom was bright and spacious. I'd recommend it if you're not too demanding. We'll definitely come back.
