The bed was a 5/5 for comfort, and the room, though small as described online, was really comfortable. Everything was neat and so clean it smelled fresh, and the bathroom was spotless. We arrived with our dog and were welcomed straight away; keeping the dog in the bedroom was no problem. Check-in was quick, and the woman handed over the key and explained everything, including that we could use the downstairs door all night if we wanted. We went down to eat around 8:00pm and were welcomed warmly again while our dog stayed in the room. We ordered two beers and two bacon and cheese bocadillos, warmed at our request. They were very good and not small. Great value for money, and somewhere we'd stay again next time we're in the area.

On the Camino, I've never had an experience like this before. We waited for 15 minutes without the waitress coming over, while she served people who arrived after us. Very disappointing.

The room was very clean and everything was fine. We were lucky the kind woman could give us a room late that evening after the Albuerge in Polanco turned out to be closed, despite confirming by phone. This was during our one-night stay in February 2019. Thanks!

We came back for breakfast the following morning, and that turned out to be a great call too. The food was tasty and good value. We'd first stopped in for a drink, then decided to eat since we were looking for somewhere. They weren't especially friendly at first, though the service got a lot better once they started serving us. A great find this weekend.
