The hosts, Carmen and Jose, were quick to respond and very attentive. We also loved the setting: Sunbilla has lovely paths for walks, hikes, and bike rides, and the views from Casa Betraunea are beautiful. It’s an easy drive to San Sebastian, Pamplona, Hendaye (France), and other attractions. The house felt like home and worked really well for having family and friends over. We enjoyed meals from the spacious kitchen and the outdoor barbecue, and the pool was a welcome way to cool off on hot days. Downstairs, the pool table and ping-pong table were both in great shape, which made a big difference since we’ve stayed in places where that equipment was broken or poorly kept. Everyone, young and old, had plenty to do. A wonderful vacation, and we highly recommend Casa Betraunea.

The outdoor jacuzzi was a real highlight, and the surroundings are beautiful. The house was spotless and had everything our group needed. It felt like home, and we’d happily recommend it. Many thanks to Carmen and Josetxo!

We first came two years ago, and we’ll be back. The owners are kind, helpful, and ready to respond to any request. The house has a great play area, a fireplace that’s a real treat, and an elevator that’s especially useful for older guests.

Carmen was so helpful, even while she was on vacation, and such a sweetheart. The house has everything you need, so there’s hardly any reason to leave. We only booked a weekend and wished we’d stayed longer. We’ll come back as soon as we can.
