The bed was probably the most comfortable one I’ve slept in while traveling, and Max is easily the cutest dog I’ve met on my trips. Bernard was a lovely, friendly, welcoming host, and even arranged vegan breakfast for me, which I really appreciated. Cortijo Oro Verde has a beautiful terrace and pool area in an amazing location. I had a wonderful stay and would love to come back with better weather!

The rooms are great, clean, and have everything you need, and there’s a lovely big pool. Mr. Bernard welcomed me, showed me around, and pointed out the best places to go. He’s such a nice man, easy to talk to, and I felt at ease right away. I’m staying for two more nights. Thanks, Mr. Bernard, for having me here. You’ve got a wonderful oasis in the desert!

If you’re heading through Tabernas or planning to see the desert, this place is a real find. The host made the stay amazing, and the breakfasts are absolutely worth having while you’re there. We also tried the dinner spots he recommended and loved them. Say hi to Max the day if you go!

Christine and Barnard made our Andalusia trip easier, with helpful local tips and a map showing us the best way to Malaga. The rooms were thoughtfully equipped, and the hosts clearly care about what they do. A lovely little oasis in the Spanish desert, and a perfect place to rest on our tour.
