Camping Sierra De María

We made good use of the pool and restaurant during our two nights here, and found the whole place very clean. The bungalow suited us perfectly, with everything we needed, plus thoughtful extras like a coffee machine and pods. Air conditioning was welcome too. Goats and pigs wandering around freely were a lovely sight. It's right in the middle of a national park, and we're already planning a winter return.

It's been six years since my last visit, but I won't leave it that long next time. I arrived late on a February evening and, thanks to an arrangement made beforehand, was able to pitch up. The toilets were really clean and, best of all, heated. The restaurant shuts at 6 in winter, though we managed to have an excellent late lunch one afternoon.

The food was great and reasonably priced, and there was plenty of room at the camping pitches. The log cabins were clean, though a little dated. It's a lovely woodland and mountain setting, much cooler than the coast. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Right in the middle of a national park, with a setting that's hard to beat. The restaurant was good, and both the pool and sanitary facilities were extremely clean. The pitches are on the small side, but manageable with a 6 m camper.
