Casas Rurales Cortijo Leontino

We stayed for a week in August in this pretty, well-kept rustic house, which had everything we needed. El Taberno is about a 10-minute drive away. It's a small village, but there are several places to eat, including the pensioners' club bar, which I'd recommend, and shops for essentials. Huércal-Overa is another 15 minutes away.

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, and made sure we had whatever we needed. I really valued that personal touch. The house was comfortable, with roomy bedrooms that each had their own bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen and dining room. It's a lovely place to spend time with family and enjoy nature, or to switch off, though mobile signal is unavailable and the Wi-Fi is very weak. Apart from that, everything was great.

A clean, comfortable country house with a pool to enjoy. It's completely quiet day and night, which is lovely, and the views of the night sky deserve a Starlight designation.

The owner was kind and attentive throughout, and gave us clear directions that got us there on the first try. The pool was lovely, large, and clean, and easy for older people to access. We spent a few days here with family; the house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was wonderfully quiet, and we'll definitely return. Thanks so much for everything!
