The four rooms were comfortable, and everyone treated us warmly. We arrived a little late after riding from Madrid toward Soria, but they were ready for us and had said our arrival time was no trouble. Since we hadn't eaten, they pointed us to a few options, and we had a really good dinner at the bar on the corner. Breakfast was generous and good quality: orange juice, hot chocolate, coffee, milk, and toast with butter and jam. We had a lovely night at Casa Maestro before carrying on with our route the next day. We'd gladly stay again on another trip. Thanks for being so kind.

The one good thing was arriving to find the room clean. Otherwise, the house felt very basic and not well looked after, and the pillows and mattresses were poor quality. They also don't clean the room, which is hard to understand for a place calling itself three stars at that price, especially when they don't even make the bed. The town didn't appeal to us either, and it's a long way from many of the province's sights. The hostess was unprofessional. We stayed because we'd received a gift box of experiences, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I don't see how it has such a good rating.

The dinners were the highlight for us: homemade, delicious, made with local ingredients, and nicely cooked and presented. Breakfast came with toast and olive oil, jam or butter, milk or coffee, fresh orange juice, and pastries. The owner was very attentive to what we needed. We were three and stayed two days at Casa del Maestro. They moved us into a larger room so we'd have more space. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was roomy. A few more closet hangers and a wider shower curtain would help keep water from splashing out. Thanks for such a pleasant stay. We got to see the area's wonders and relax, and we'll definitely come back.

The owners were great, and staying with our dog was no problem. Our room was clean and spacious, and we really enjoyed the homemade breakfasts and dinners. It also makes a good base, close to Soria and other places of interest. We had a lovely weekend there.
