The location will depend on what you're after. It's very close to a quiet beach, in an area with locals and holiday homes, and outside town. If you prefer somewhere livelier and nearer bars and restaurants, you may want to stay closer to town, about a 40-minute walk away. The service was very good and kind. The hotel has been newly refurbished, with spacious rooms and speakers in the bathroom, which was quite cool. The pool area looks swag.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was great. You can order as much as you like, but it's not a buffet, so you have to ask the waiters for food several times. That gets inconvenient, especially when the restaurant is busy.

The room faced the street, so it was pretty noisy. We arrived early and our bags were still at reception, so we had to carry them to the room ourselves. The a la carte breakfast felt awkward.

I've never stayed in a 4-star hotel where you can't get a drink in the evening. This feels like a very low-class hotel: no facilities, no bar, and no nice communal areas to sit in. There's no bar by the pool either. The rooms have no decor, and the bathrooms don't have a loo brush or tissues. There's no coffee or tea maker in the room. The air conditioning is switched on by reception only if you ask.
