Camping Paloma

I really enjoyed the kids’ area and the bars for pull-ups and dips. The staff were very friendly, and the caravan pitches tucked among trees and hedges had a good mix of sun and shade, handy if you need sunlight for roof solar panels but don’t want to bake. The bathrooms were clean and the water properly hot. If everyone keeps showers short and saves water, I don’t see why the temperature should be a problem. There was hardly any rubbish in the hedges, though I did see some guests leave trash on the ground as they went. Everyone should do their bit to keep the place tidy.

Closed! Google and the campsite’s own website both said it was open. Not funny after hours on the road on a motorcycle. Unbelievably unprofessional. Take a good look at yourselves.

We keep choosing Camping Valdevaqueros for school trips because it’s conveniently close to the beach and Mulit-activity Paloma. The staff are always super friendly, and the restaurant food is both nutritious and tasty. Book early, it fills up fast. My one gripe is that the pool isn’t open on weekdays in May, even when it gets above 30ºc.

The restaurant was a letdown, though the shop on site was good. Reception were really friendly and let me switch my parcella, thanks to Pillar. It was still windy, of course, but the trees gave me some shade. A good campsite, even if the arrangements with camping Taiga are a bit strange.
