Rafa and Carla made us feel like family, and we can’t wait to come back. The Tramontana villa was peaceful, beautifully styled, and full of thoughtful details, from the warm lighting and decor to the outdoor and rooftop patios. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable. There’s a lovely pool with stunning views, plus plenty of spots around the property to sit with a coffee. A Jeep or small SUV isn’t necessary, but it makes exploring the roads and beaches easier. Tarifa is nearby, with lovely streets, cafés, and shops. Playa Bolonia and Los Lances are beautiful beaches worth visiting. Vejer is about an hour’s drive north, a picturesque white village on a hill with a castle that’s worth exploring.

Rafa was a gracious host and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We spent three nights at Cortijo La Hoya in December, during the off-season, in Casa Luna. The cottage was very comfortable and just right for two people. The garden and pool overlooking the sea and Moroccan mountains were stunning, and honestly felt like a little piece of paradise. We’d love to return someday and can only imagine how it looks in spring or summer. We’d absolutely recommend staying here.

The view is amazing, you can almost reach Morocco from here. We had a really relaxing nomad escape, and the WiFi was pretty good too! Thanks so much, Rafa. The pool was unfortunately too cold in June this year.

Rafa was a wonderful host. I loved the ocean view with Morocco right behind it, and the rooms were tastefully decorated. The landscaping and atmosphere are beautiful. This place felt like a dream, the best place I’ve ever stayed!

We’ve just come back from another fantastic holiday here, and we’ll definitely return for a third time. It’s our perfect place to unwind and take in the views, tucked into a beautiful natural spot while Tarifa and its beaches are only a few kilometers away.
