The room was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the spot, tucked into a quiet alley near the church and bars in the old town. There was a buzzing sound from the electrical trip switch box, but it didn't cause any trouble.

I can't comment on staying at the hostal because I never stayed there, but the woman at the front desk was wonderful. My friend and I had just come from Tangier to Tarifa and needed to reach our car service about getting back to Malaga. We had no Wi-Fi, so she called them for us and confirmed the pickup time and place while also helping new guests. She was so kind and courteous. Her help saved us from having to spend an unnecessary night in Tarifa, and we're very grateful. We never got her name, but thank you!

The staff were kind and helpful, and the rooms were very clean and well looked after. It's an excellent hostal, close to both the harbor and the city center.
