The price was good, but the receptionist was extremely rude. We asked about paying for breakfast separately the next day, depending on when we left, and were offered a higher price than if it had simply been included with the room. We also asked to see the room, and he showed us a 3D rendering instead. First time that’s happened on my travels. Funny man 😂 We’d seen some negative reviews and didn’t want to believe them because the place looks decent.

The location was ideal for kitesurfing, just minutes from the best beaches and launch spots. There was secure gear storage and plenty of room to dry equipment. After a day on the water, we loved coming back to the peaceful setting, lovely views, and relaxed atmosphere. I’m genuinely confused about how this hotel has only 3 stars. The staff, especially Christina, made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. They were warm, welcoming, and always glad to help. Their hospitality really stood out. We had an incredible stay at Hotel Dulce Nombre in Tarifa and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a kitesurf friendly hotel with great service. We’ll definitely be back!

There was an issue with the hot water, but the staff quickly moved us to another apartment and were really helpful. Problems can happen. What matters is how they’re handled, and they responded well. It was another great stay at Hotel Dulce Nombre. The staff are pleasant and engaging, the rooms spotlessly clean, and you can tell the place is looked after. Fresh paint, cared for plants, and a truly gorgeous pool. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We’ve visited tarifa many times, but this was our first time staying in a hotel there, and we were really happy with it. The restaurant food was surprisingly good, especially the mojitos, which were the best we had during our stay. It’s very well located for kitesurfing, the staff were kind, and we found it much nicer than staying in the city. Definitely recommend it.

The room was very nice and the October price was the best. Valdevaqueros beach is only 3 minutes away by car, and Tarifa takes about 12 to 15 minutes to reach by car.
