Room Tarifa

We stayed last week and had a lovely time. The staff were friendly, the location was perfect, and we'll definitely come back.

Paqui, who greeted us when we arrived, was the highlight of our stay. She was hilarious, put up with our not-so-good Spanish, and taught us lots too. We had a great laugh with her, and her suggestion for a nearby vegetarian restaurant was spot on, the veggie food there was fantastic. The hotel is in the historic district, with shops, bars, and restaurants a short walk away. The beach is about 15-20 minutes on foot, a nice option for sunset. Our room was very comfortable and had a lovely rain shower. Breakfast is simple, with coffee, juice, fruit, pastries, and croissants, but more than some places offer for a higher price. We had a lovely stay, no complaints, and would stay again.

The comfortable rooms and central location are good, but the people working here are what make the place. Carlos at reception was incredibly helpful and gave us great advice about Tarifa. Miguel was also very friendly and went out of his way to help. I'd happily recommend this small boutique hotel.

The location is perfect, though the road is steep, which is just how the area is. The rooms are a little small, but that fits the area. I didn't use the service much, so can't give it five, though I have no complaints about the little I did use. Cleanliness was five stars. I'd certainly recommend it.
