Apartaments Reial 1

The room was spacious and comfortable, with comprehensive, new appliances. We stayed for two nights, though there were two issues, as other guests have mentioned. There was no reception, and no instructions were sent beforehand. We had to wait outside and call staff, whose response time could be short or long depending on the circumstances. That's quite unfriendly for tourists, so arranging things in advance is recommended. Also, check-in after 9 p.m. carries a €25 late fee. We booked through Agoda and had paid in full before arrival. The bill clearly included a €25 cleaning fee, but staff asked us to pay it again at check-in. We explained it was already paid, but they insisted. We complained to Agoda and eventually got a refund.

Reial 1 is right in the centre and easy to find. There are supermarkets close by, and the train station is only a few minutes away. The windows are soundproof, too. The place was clean and tidy, with everything equipped, and I really enjoyed my stay. Communication with the hosts was perfect. Many thanks to Miguel.

The apartments are very clean and in a good location, with all the facilities except a washing machine. Cooking there could feel a bit limited, though. If you like a place that feels clean and brand new, this is ideal. The host was very friendly and spoke fairly good English.

The beach and train station are both about five minutes away. The nearest beach was surprisingly well maintained, with clear water, little fish in the sea, and plenty of room for umbrellas in July. Other beaches are worth a visit as well. There are several supermarkets nearby, plus an excellent Chinese restaurant on the same street. Our two-bedroom apartment was new, neat, clean, and functional. I understood that the larger apartments are on the higher floors. The building is recently built and has effective central air conditioning. It's in an area mostly populated by locals. Entry to the building and apartments is by code, so there are no physical keys to lose. The kitchen had everything we needed: an oven, washing machine, large fridge, dishwasher, cutlery, plates, and more. In the common area there's a comfortable sofa and an Android TV, so you can watch Netflix, Prime Video, or launch pretty much any .apk app. There is a large terrace with a sea view and a big balcony on the other side overlooking the street. You can dry clothes on the terrace. The beds, mattresses, and pillows were great, and the towels were amazing. Cleaning and towel changes happen once every seven days. Be prepared to use the mop yourself, though, as sand comes in quickly with you and through the open windows. There isn't a parking lot for the accommodation, and covered parking is quite far away. Street parking can be tricky. The green spaces cost €4 for a maximum of two hours, from 9:00 to 20:00, so they're not the best option. Orange spaces on two long parallel streets closer to the railway cost only €1 per day, but finding an empty one can sometimes be a quest.
