The biggest issue was an extra charge that felt unjustified. We arrived only an hour after check-in time and were asked to pay €6 per person, including for our 8-year-old child. They said it was for arriving late and that the charge was “on the internet,” but I couldn’t find it anywhere. The online information clearly says guests can come and go at any time. The way it was handled felt unprofessional and abusive. I also didn’t feel secure or comfortable enough to sleep peacefully there. The bathroom was disappointing, with strange, low-quality soap, and no extra blankets were provided, even though that seems basic when it’s cold. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all, especially for families.

I paid €60 for one night, and left angry, with a strong feeling that I’d been scammed. I’ve stayed in very basic hostels and other accommodation before, but never felt this way. The photos and listing don’t match what you actually get. They gave the impression the bathroom was private, but it was shared, cold, and uncomfortable. Neither the room nor the bathroom had proper heating. The only heater was electric, and it couldn’t warm the room through the night. I arrived tired at 9:30 pm. When I realized there was no private bathroom and felt how cold it was, they offered to let me leave. I was too exhausted, so I trusted I’d be able to sleep. That was a mistake. The cold kept me awake, the sheets were very thin, the mattress was old and uncomfortable, and the pillow was in very bad condition. The next morning I read the reviews, which I should have checked earlier. I was even more surprised to see the business responding by attacking customers instead of taking stock of what it offers and adjusting its prices. When I asked for an invoice, I was told they couldn’t provide one. I’m not asking for luxury, just for what’s offered to match what I find, and not to feel cheated. The value for money here is completely out of proportion. This wasn’t just a bad impression, it was a deceptive experience.

I’d booked before reading the reviews, so I was braced for the worst. In the end, it was quite good: clean, quiet, and with attentive service. No unpleasant surprises. It’s obviously not a luxury hotel, but for the price, I thought it was very good.

We were quoted one price over the phone, then charged more when we arrived. They also agreed to provide an invoice, but when we went to collect it the next day, they didn’t have one and said they couldn’t issue it. We didn’t have keys of our own, so we had to call out to the doorman and depended on him to get into the room. The guy’s a real crook. I wouldn’t recommend the place at all.
