The rooms aren't new or luxurious, but they're perfectly fine, and you don't need more to feel good here. This place is heaven on earth if you want peace in a quiet, remote setting. The Atlantic views are breathtaking, and the lush garden is in a lovely, tranquil spot. I really don't understand the negative comments. We miss Mysitha, the Finca's cute Siamese cat.

The bungalows are lovely, set in an even prettier garden with animals and rare plants. It's completely quiet day and night, and there are good cooking and household supplies. The Wi-Fi is poor, so I missed having decent internet for watching movies. Service is good, especially the fresh baguettes in the morning and the trip arrangements. A nice place for older people. The plantation drive doesn't feel much like a holiday, but once you're at the property you forget about it. The location on the east coast is central, so most popular spots are easy to reach, and you don't really need a rental car. We had a lovely week, enjoying the beautiful gardens and a refreshing pool during the "Calima" storm. The pool was clean, though it could use fresh paint. Estefania was friendly, and while the walls were a bit noisy, that's often how it is outside hotel complexes. It was manageable.

We had a superb sea view and enjoyed the well-kept grounds and friendly staff. Although the resort sits in the middle of a banana plantation, you wouldn't know it. Our room, CA 01, was simply furnished, with no radio or television, so peace and quiet are assured. We'll be back.
