Ancones Lejanos Rooms

The host and staff were so lovely, and the place was very clean with all the details taken care of. The kitchen is large, with a small living room as well, and the rooftop has a nice mountain view. There’s a little beach just three minutes from the house. The host can arrange a pickup from Aéroport for an additional fee. It’s a 20-minute walk to the city and bus stop, but I felt safe walking there even at night. Thanks for having me, Jose and Ruth. See you next time!

Ruth manages the hostel and was very kind and helpful. I enjoyed the peaceful feel of the small hamlet and met lovely people during my two-night stay. The hostel was very clean, with a fantastic rooftop view and a decent kitchen. I rented a mountain bike in Costa Teguise, which made getting around easy. It would be cool if the hostel rented bikes too, and a hammock on the terrace would be nice. I’d come back.

It’s a 30-minute walk from the last bus stop and shops in Costa Teguise, so with heavy luggage I’d suggest arranging a transfer or renting a car. The setting is a quiet village of about 20 houses, far from tourist crowds, where you can hear the ocean and see a sky full of stars. There are private and shared rooms, plus a kitchen and common area and a lovely little terrace.

The owners are really nice, and the house is super clean. The kitchen is big and has all the pans, pots and other things you might need. This is where you want to stay in Lanzarote!
