Apartamentos Camels Spring

The apartment we ended up in was spacious, clean and comfortable, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a big balcony overlooking the sea. We had booked at very short notice, and were told on arrival that our Camel's Spring room wasn't free for the first night. That worked out fine: we stayed in an apartment across the road, then moved to Camel's Spring the next day and were upgraded for the inconvenience. The area is very quiet and peaceful, a few minutes from the beach and about a five minute walk from the centre of Costa Teguise. We didn't try the pool, but it looked calm and clean. There's a shower and luggage storage by the pool too, handy if you leave late. We really enjoyed our stay. The price was very reasonable, and we'd happily stay at Camel's Spring again.

It felt like a home from home. The two bedroom apartment was roomy, and its south facing aspect was perfect. The development is older, but very peaceful, which suited my husband while he was recovering from surgery. The pool was closed, though we could use the pool at their sister apartments across the road.

The grounds were spotless, and the pool area was kept tidy, with clean chairs set out each time. The pool itself was heated and clean, and there's a lovely little cafe on site. Our clean, spacious apartment was comfortable and cleaned twice during our week. We also enjoyed being included in the Wednesday evening BBQ. The office kept long hours, so it was easy to ask questions.

This was great value, and I'd definitely stay again. The small, friendly complex is in a quiet spot, around a six or seven minute walk from the town centre. Reception staff were lovely and very helpful. We were two adults and two teenagers, and the two bedrooms, two bathrooms and Wi-Fi worked well for us. There's a fabulous pool, plus a little bar nearby that serves drinks and snacks every day except Sunday. The Wednesday BBQ evening was popular too. The kitchen setup is basic, with a hob, microwave and fridge, so I don't think you'd want to do all your cooking there. For what we needed, though, it was perfect.
