Apartamentos Celeste

The location is great, but the rooms are very basic. There’s no hairdryer unless you rent one for 10€ a week. The bathroom was clean and towels were changed every three days. Apartments were cleaned five times a week, though only superficially, with the floors left dusty after a quick sweep. There weren’t any cleaning supplies in the apartment, not even a broom, so we had to wait for the cleaners. There’s also no heating or cooling in the rooms.

The staff at Apartamentos Celeste Lanzarote were friendly and did try to help, which I appreciated. There’s a small heated pool on site too, which was a plus. The apartment itself was cold and noticeably damp, so it was hard to feel comfortable or relax. There was no heating, air conditioning, or proper ventilation. Opening the windows was the only way to get fresh air, and that’s not a real fix in cool or humid weather. Better climate control and ventilation would make a big difference. In its current condition, I can’t recommend it.

We’d stay here again without hesitation. Apartment 206 was spacious, very clean, and had three balconies, so there was sun all day. The beds were comfortable, the shower was perfect, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. The pool was great for an afternoon dip. There are good bars right outside, and a lovely square with more restaurants about five minutes away. We like going to the beach, and the five minute walk there suited us perfectly. 👌

The only snag was that the hotel Wi-Fi was down, so we couldn’t connect. Otherwise, we had a lovely week and would recommend the place and stay again if we’re back in the area. Our apartment in block 1 was spacious enough for our family of five, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. The pool was small, but the kids and I still enjoyed it. The location is right in the heart of town, with a bar or restaurant whichever way you turn. From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff gave us a warm welcome and our keys.
