Casa Tomaren

Pepi, the manager, was so welcoming and kind, and did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. We stayed in one of the recently renovated houses, full of lovely details, and the new owner is doing an amazing job bringing the houses back to a Lanzarote style instead of a “Bali” look. The grounds are a green, quiet oasis in the middle of a rugged landscape. The garden and pool are beautiful, set in a natural hollow that shelters them from the wind. It’s a great central base for exploring the island. Breakfast was very decent, and there’s a free yoga class too. We already want to come back, thank you!

The staff are warm and kind. They speak several languages and do their best to make you feel at home. I really enjoyed chatting with them. Casa Tomaren is a peaceful oasis, just 20m from the airport and close to a few interesting hikes. It has lovely villas, a healthy breakfast, and a large, attractive pool surrounded by palms and hammocks. The dragon fruit juice was my personal favorite. Our rustic, cozy villa had its own yard, kitchen, living room, and a large bathroom, as well as a view of the mountain opposite. The setting combines the dry landscapes of the Canary Islands with an Indonesian touch. It’s a lovely place to unwind in Lanzarote, and the prices are very competitive. I recommend it!

Pepi welcomed us like an old friend, and that warm feeling lasted throughout the visit. The location is great for seeing the whole island. Our room was very cozy, and while the place could use a bit of a touch-up, we still had an amazing stay.

Photos don’t do this estate justice. We stayed in a spacious villa with beautiful design and a comfortable bed, a large, clean bathroom, and even a small cooking area. Breakfast was delicious, with local products and a professional coffee machine, and the hospitality was great. I’d definitely come back when I’m next in Lanzarote.
