The staff were very friendly, and the location was quiet but only a 5-7 minute walk from the bars and restaurants. On arrival, our room at the Molino wasn't available, so we were given a spacious, well equipped room at Camel Springs for three nights, then moved to the Molino for our final night. Camel Springs was much better than the Molino. The Molino accommodation was very basic; the bathroom sink was cracked, and the hot water was discolored, probably because the hot water heater needs replacing. I'd stay at Camel Springs again, but unfortunately not at the Molino.

For what we paid, the place was acceptable as a base, but I’m not sure I’d feel the same if I were staying a week or more and wanted to spend much time around the pool. The area is good for restaurants and bars, close enough to walk to them without being so close that you hear the noise. We stayed 5 nights. We were told there’d only be one small clean; we arrived Sunday and the towels were changed on Wednesday. The pool area looked OK, though we didn't use it because of the weather. A few basics were missing or needed attention: there was just one bedside table, one bedroom plug socket, and one spare blanket in case someone got cold. The kettle lid was broken, and the bathroom badly needed an upgrade.

We’ve stayed at Molino de Guatiza three times now, and I’d recommend it based on those visits. The staff here and at camel springs, which has the same ownership, are very helpful. The apartment was clean and tidy, though a little more maintenance would make it better. It’s well placed for the beach, bars and restaurants, with supermarkets a short walk away for self catering. We had two very hot weeks and mostly walked five minutes to the beach, though the small pool was handy for cooling off. The rooms can get muggy without air conditioning, and the kitchen only has a hob, no oven.

We stayed for a week, from 17-24 Oct 2024, and were really impressed by how roomy the two room apartment was. The balcony had a fantastic sea view, and everything was clean and tidy. The pool was great, with no need to compete for a sunbed, and the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Once we found the shortcut, the main part of town and the beach were both a short walk away. The weather was lovely and hot, and we’d definitely come back.

I came on my own with two children and felt safe here. We stayed in number 7, which had perfect access to the pool. There were plenty of loungers, a nice little baby pool, and it was busy enough for the kids to make a couple of friends without feeling overcrowded. The apartment had a good sized room, all the kitchen equipment we needed, smooth WiFi and a brilliant TV where we could sign into our own Netflix account. There’s plenty of freedom to plan your own holiday, with places to eat nearby or snacks to pick up at the HiperDino. The main strip, beach and bus stop are all within walking distance. I’ve been to Lanzarote twice before, and this was my third visit. For what I paid, this place was well worth it and beats the well known chains I stayed at in Costa Teguise and Puerto del carmen, just for its location. I’d recommend the complex. I later learned the three cats I’d been feeding aren’t strays, they have homes but come looking for extras. They’re friendly and help keep unwanted bugs away, which I saw as a bonus.
